Modified Suzuki Violin/Viola Lessons We accept students 4th grade and older in our modified Suzuki program. Older beginners and students who already read music find that a modified Suzuki approach is more suitable.  Although many aspects of the program are the same as the Suzuki program, students do not have a regular monthly Suzuki repertoire class and learn fewer of their pieces by ear, instead reading music to learn their new pieces.  In addition to the weekly private lesson, students attend monthly group technique classes.
